Synthetic Vision on the PFD

A Synthetic Vision is a computer-mediated reality system that uses 3D to provide pilots with clear and intuitive means of understanding their flying environment.

SV is displayed as a forward-looking display of the topography immediately in front of the aircraft. SV information is shown on the primary flight display (PFD).
